Evening Event with Lisa Quinn
HappyWomenDinners.com invites you to an evening with Lisa Quinn, author, TV host, and home designer on
November 4, 2017.
“Killing Off SuperWoman”
Talk with TV’s Lisa Quinn, author of Life’s Too Short To Fold Fitted Sheets
“The real key to happiness is getting rid of your inner control freak, redefining what’s real and important in your life, and then lowering your standards for everything else. We’ll be discussing perfectionism on November 4th & how unrealistic expectations negatively affect you and those around you. I’ll share with you domestic shortcuts, rationalizations, cheats, compromises, inspiration, contradictions, and con-fessions to help you get through the day. “
– Lisa Quinn
Lisa Quinn is an Emmy Award-winning TV host and best-selling author. Her home makeover show, Home with Lisa Quinn, is nationally syndicated in 65 markets.
Her talents have been showcased on Good Morning America, HGTV, and Oprah. She is a contributor to Better Homes and Gardens, PARADE magazine, and several lifestyle blogs. After 20 years in the hustle and bustle of San Francisco, Lisa and her family moved to the quaint mountain town of Nevada City, CA in 2016--population 2800. Nevada City was recently featured in Sunset Magazine and the #1 destination in California for Bay Area transplants. Lisa Quinn HOME is a full-service interior design company serving residential and commercial clients in Nevada County.

She is currently working on her largest project yet: The Flagg Building, in downtown Nevada City, served as a brothel and saloon in the 1880’s. After a truly devasting remodel in the 1980’s, Lisa is heading up the restoration of this mammoth 7200 sq ft building to become the city’s premiere B&B and restaurant. Once completed, this historic building will rise again to be the talk of the town. Lisa also serves on the Nevada County Arts Council’s Board of Directors, heading up the Marketing & Tourism committee to develop Nevada City as an arts destination. Because of all the hard work of the Board, Nevada County just secured the prestigious Cultural District Designation from the California Arts Council. Lisa currently serves as the spokesperson for IKEA and Stikwood wall coverings - Rethink Your Walls with Stikwood. Stikwood Studios will air later this year as a web series.
