Join us for a 3-part dinner series (individual event tickets available or all three for a package price). We will be exploring & empowering ourselves to tell the truth about our lives in three key areas: imperfection; grief & loss; & sex. Each event is in the Los Angeles area and is moderated by Laurie Cousins, UCLA Certified Mindfulness Facilitator, and Mind-body Practitioner.

These are words from feminist poet Muriel Rukeyser’s poem Kathe Kollwitz. Muriel Rukeyser wrote that in 1968, even though she’d been splitting the world open for decades already. She’d gone from literary wunderkind to lefty pariah to feminist heroine precisely because of her commitment to telling the truth–about one woman’s life, yes, but also about many, many women’s lives, about the lives that weren’t yet celebrated in poetry.
